Club Tropicana, Wales Millennium Centre- Tuesday 13th until Saturday 17th August 2019

The ultimate feel good musical ‘Club Tropicana’ is heading to Cardiff’s Wales Millennium Centre on 13th August for a highly anticipated week long run.  Head back to the electric 80s and enjoy the hilarious story of a bride and groom, who both get cold feet before the big day. Each jet off in search of some fun in the sun, only to discover they’ve checked into the same hotel- Club Tropicana.

This musical is set to some of the most iconic and best-loved anthems of the 1980s including ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’, ‘Making Your Mind Up’, ‘Islands in the Stream’ and ‘Up Where We Belong’. Your toes will be tapping from beginning to end as this charming and hilarious story unfolds.

Club Tropicana’s star studded cast is led by Joe McElderry, 2009 winner of the X-Factor and veteran performer of the titular character in Joseph and his Technicolour Dremcoat. Neil McDermott (Eastenders), Kate Robbins (Spitting Image), Emily Tierney (Wicked and the Wizard of Oz) and the Sugababes’ Amelle Berrabah, who is making her musical theatre debut, will join him.

The performance is just over 2 hours long and tickets prices range from £16.50-£46.50. Please visit the Wales Millennium Centre or Club Tropicana website for more information.
