T19 to cease operation
06 February 2023Unfortunately, Llew Jones Coaches have announced that they will no longer operate the TrawsCymru T19 service which runs between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno with effect from Saturday 11 February 2023. In a statement, the company said a huge reduction in passenger numbers since the pandemic had made the service financially unviable.
Transport for Wales is working closely with Welsh Government and the local authorities in the area to identify and develop solutions to support passengers particularly between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llanrwst.
There are several alternative services by bus and rail in the Conwy Valley and more information can be found here.
We would also like to remind concessionary passengers that their travel pass is eligible for use on the Conwy Valley line too – Blaenau Ffestiniog to Llandudno.
