From Monday 24 January 2022, TfW customers within the South Wales Metro area will be able to purchase selected rail tickets for local journeys in a number of convenience stores.

Gemma Lelliott has been part of the organisation for 3 years and has been the Interim Director for Wales over the last 6 months.

The 36 zero-emission electric buses will help generate a clean and sustainable transport system in the capital.

The development consists of a modern transport hub at the heart of the Town Centre, which will provide seamless travel across bus and rail.

The scheme had been suspended for two months in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan but resumed as of 13th January.

Transport for Wales is continuing to move forward with the building of the South Wales Metro with major works delivered over the Christmas break.

The decision has been made to ensure the stability and reliability of the network.
