Cardiff Bus has launched a unique competition to pay tribute to mums across Cardiff.

The local bus operator is giving members of the public a once in a lifetime opportunity to name a bus after their mum this Mother’s Day.

Those wishing to publicly show appreciation of their mums are encouraged to enter its ‘Thank You, Mum’ competition to have their mum’s name displayed on a dedicated bus for a week and a personal message to their mum on the buses on-board media screens.

The lucky mum will also win a bouquet of flowers and opportunity to have a photo taken with her personal bus.

Cardiff Bus’ marketing assistant, Carys Roberts, said: “Mums do selfless acts every day and ask for nothing in return so we wanted to give the people of Cardiff the opportunity to publicly show appreciation of their mums this Mother’s Day. One lucky winner can show the whole of Cardiff just how much their mum means to them with our unique competition.”

To enter send your name, contact details and why you want to publicly thank your mum in less than 50 words to win@cardiffbus.com by Monday 24^th2014.

Cardiff Bus will also share a selection of Mother’s Day messages via its Facebook and Twitter accounts on Sunday 30^th March using #thankyoumum.
