Great Western Railway

This Christmas, Paddington station will be closed for four days from Christmas Day through to Monday 28th December. This will be followed by a further six days of reduced access.

No trains will run on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Services will however finish earlier than normal on Christmas Eve, Thursday 24th December.

On Sunday 27th and Monday 28th December, no services will travel to Paddington. Trains from South Wales will run to Marylebone instead. These will be direct services, with no need to change trains or take a bus. The trains will run hourly, journeys will however be longer.

Services will run to Paddington from Tuesday 29th December, but on a reduced timetable, through to Sunday 3rd January.
