The following Cardiff Bus services will divert on Sunday 4th October due to the Cardiff Half Marathon. Please plan your journey and check the timetables prior to travel.
Baycar – This service will begin later at 10:20 from Cardiff Bay and 10:30 from St Mary Street. Buses will run between St Mary Street and Porth Teigr until 11:00. After this time, normal service will resume.

Additionally on Friday 2 October Cathays Park will not be served and buses will travel via Park Place and Corbett Road.
Routes 8 & 9 – From the first bus until approx. 11:30 journeys will start and end at Wood Street in the city centre. Additionally, service 8 will only run as far as Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay during this time. These services will not continue across the city as service 11.

Route 11 – From the first bus until 11:45 from Pengam Green and 12:15 from city centre journeys will start and end at Newport Road/City Road.
This service will not cross the city as service 8.

Route 13 - From the first bus until approx 11:00, buses will enter the city centre via Fitzhamon Embankment and Tudor Street not Westgate Street. Additionally the 09:42 from Drope will end in Canton (Wyndham Crescent)

Routes 17/18 – Journeys before 08:00 will enter and leave the city centre via Tudor Street not serving Westgate Street or Cardiff Bridge. Between 08:00 and 10:00 buses will start and end at Cowbridge Road East/Wyndham Crescent and not able to serve the city centre.

Routes 21, 23 & 27 - Between the first bus and 11:00 buses will start and end at Greyfriars Road.

Route 28B - Between the first bus and 11:00, buses will start and end at Greyfriars Road. Additionally between the first bus and 13:30, buses will operate via North Road, Caerphilly Road and Heathwood Road in both directions between Fidlas Road and the city centre.

Route 30 - The 09:30 and 11:30 from Cardiff and the 09:30 from Newport will start and end at Newport Road/ City Road.

Route 35 – From the first bus until approx. 13:30, journeys between the city centre and Gabalfa will run via Park Place, North Road and Gabalfa Interchange. The 10:50 journey will start from Churchill Way.
The 09:16, 10:16, 11:16 and 12:16 from Gabalfa will operate around Gabalfa Estate then via Whitchurch Road, Crown Way and North Road to the city centre with the 09:16 and 10:16 journeys ending at Churchill Way.

Route 38 – From the first bus until approx. 13:30, journeys between the city centre and Gabalfa will run via Park Place, North Road and Gabalfa Interchange to Heath Hospital, with the journeys before 11:00 starting/ending in Churchill Way.
From the first bus until approx. 13:30, buses to the city centre will run via Rhydelig Avenue, Whitchurch Road, Crown Way and North Road to the city centre. Those arriving before 11:00 will end at Churchill Way.

Routes 44/45 and 49/50 - Between 08:00 and 12:00 buses will start/end at Newport Road/City Road not serving Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway, Westgate Street, Bute Terrace or Churchill Way.

Routes 52, 57 & 58 - Between 08:00 and 12:00 buses will start/end at Newport Road/City Road not serving Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway, Westgate Street, Bute Terrace or Churchill Way. Additionally from 08:00 until 12:30 buses between Newport Road and Penylan Road will travel via Newport Road, Waterloo Road and Melrose Avenue not serving Albany Road or Richmond Road.

Route 54 – From the first bus until 12:00 buses will start/end at Newport Road/City Road not serving Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway, Westgate Street, Bute Terrace or Churchill Way. Additionally from 08:00 until 12:30 buses between Newport Road and Penylan Road will use Newport Road, Waterloo Road and Melrose Avenue not serving Celyn Avenue, Lakeside Drive, Lake Road East, Ninian Road, Albany Road or Richmond Road.

Route 61 - Between 08:00 and 10:00 buses will start and end at Wyndham Crescent and will not be able to serve the city centre. Outbound journeys towards Pentrebane will run via Cowbridge Road East, Llandaff Road, Romilly Road before returning to their normal route. Additionally buses before 08:00 and between 10:00 and 11:00 will enter and leave the city centre via Tudor Street not serving Westgate Street or Cardiff Bridge.

Routes 92 & 94 - : The 09:00, 09:30 and 10:00 departures from Cardiff will operate from Wood Street via Havelock Street, lower Westgate Street, Tudor Street, Virgil Street, Cornwall Street, North Clive Street, Clive Street, Ferry Road, A4232, Leckwith Interchange, Llandough, Redlands Road, Foxglove Rise, Bramble Rise, Cowslip Drive and Pill Street not serving Penarth Road.
The 08:37, 09:37 and 10:07 from Penarth will operate the reverse of this route.

Route 96 - The 09:20 departure from Cardiff will operate via Tudor Street, Virgil Street, Cornwall Street, North Clive Street, Clive Street, Ferry Road, A4232 to Culverhouse Cross then return to its normal route.
