Disruptions

Cardiff Bus

Due to the Cardiff Bay Triathlon taking place, there will be various road closure across the Bay and Grangetown areas resulting in withdrawn journeys and buses on diversion on Sunday 26 June from first services until 13:30 services

 

Baycar (service 6)

All Baycar journeys to and from the Bay will be suspended from first bus until 13:25. The first bus to run from Wyndham Arcade to the Bay will be the 13:25 departure; the firs bus to run from the Bay to the city centre will be the 13:40 departure.

 

Service 8

From first bus until 13:30, all service 8 journeys will terminate at Holmesdale Street, adjacent to Grange Gardens. Buses will follow normal route from the city centre via Clare Road to Penarth Road, then run along Paget Street and Bromsgrove Street to Holmesdale Street. Buses will start their journeys from Grangetown at Grange Gardens, following normal route along Corporation Road to Clare Road.

Bus stops along Corporation Road (towards the Bay), James Street, Adelaide Street, Mermaid Quay, Bute Street, Hemmingway Road (County Hall), Pierhead Street, Bute Place and Wales Millennium Centre will not be served.

 

Service 9

From first bus until 10:30, all service 9 journeys will terminate at Holmesdale Street, adjacent to Grange Gardens. Buses will follow normal route from the city centre via Clare Road to Penarth Road, then run along Paget Street and Bromsgrove Street to Holmesdale Street. Buses will start their journeys from Grangetown at Grange Gardens, following normal route along Corporation Road to Clare Road.

Bus stops along Penarth Road, Clive Street, Ferry Road, International Drive, Olympian Drive (Sports Village), Watkiss Way and Dunleavy Drive will not be served.

 

Service 99

From first bus until 13:30, all service 99 journeys will run between the city centre and Barons Court via Penarth Road, in both directions.

Bus stops at Lloyd George Avenue, Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay and Techniquest will not be served in both directions.
