Due to the Velothon Wales event taking place in South Wales on Sunday 14th June, there will be some disruptions in place to the following Newport Transport services:
35/36 Duffryn
0900 36 Service will not operate.
All further 35 & 36 services will operate via Cardiff Road, A48, Pencarn Way, Duffryn Way, Tredegar House Drive, Duffryn Drive and Pont Ebbw Roundabout. The relevant 35/36 service will operate their normal route inbound from Pont Ebbw roundabout.
This diversion will be in place until the 1500 35 service when all service will operate normal route.
27/28 Caerleon
From 1st journey both the 27 and 28 services will divert from Caerleon Road M4 roundabout via A4042 to Llanfrechfa and Ponthir serving College Glade. The 27 service will then operate via Anthony Drive, Lodge Hill, Roman Reach, Trinity View, Lodge Road to Caerleon Common. The 28 service will operate via Caesar Crescent, Roman Way, Lodge Hill and Lodge Road to Caerleon Common. Both services will then operate via Station Road and Ponthir Road to Llanfrechfa joining the A4042 to Carleon Road M4 roundabout re-joining their normal route at this point.
The above diversions will stay in place until the 1530 27 service.
42/43 Moorland
From 1st journey both the 42/43 services will operate the following route. Corporation Road, Cromwell Road, Somerton Road, Lliswerry Road, Broadmead Park, Nash Road, Nash College to Spytty Retail Park following the same route in reverse inbound to the City Centre.
The above diversion will be in place until the 1530 43 service.
30 Cardiff
30 Service will be unable to serve Cardiff Bus Station terminating in Greyfriars Road until 1430.
