Disruptions

Part of National Cycle Network No. 47 between Cilfynydd and Abercynon will be closed over the autumn half term while essential structural repairs to Mill Farm footbridge are undertaken.

The works have been timed to minimise disruption to schools and the closure will be in operation between 9am and 4pm to minimise disruption to commuters.

This is necessary for public safety.

Closure extension from 28/10/2019 until 3/11/2019:

Between the hours of 9am -4pm from 28/10/2019 until 3/11/2019, the part of the route from Abercynon Road proceeding east across the River Taff via the footbridge, then proceeding south east to terminate at its junction near Cilfynydd Recreation Ground, will be closed.

The alternative route during this closure will be via the existing highway network.
