On Thursday 27th December 2018 at 7am, Pentwyn Road will be closed from its junction of Croescadarn Road to the junction of Pentwyn Drive. This will be in place until 18:00 on the 6 January 2019.
It is to facilitate the gas works feeding in to the Spire hospital and surrounding area.
New Adventure Travels:
From Thursday 27th December 2018 until Sunday 6th January 2019, the X1 service will divert via Pentwyn Road and Bryn Celyn Road due to gas works taking place along Pentwyn Drive.
Cardiff Bus:
During this time service 57 will divert between Pentwyn Road and Pontprennau Asda via Pentwyn Drive, Bryn Celyn Road, Pentwyn Interchange, Eastern Avenue, Cardiff Gate Interchange, Pentwyn Link Road to Pontprennau Asda. Buses from Pontprennau Asda to the city centre will operate the reverse of the diversion route. Unfortunately this means that only services 58 & X59 will serve Pontprennau at this time.
