Hijinx Unity Festival Travel

Hijinx Unity Festival celebrates its 10th edition with three locations across Wales. Some of the best inclusive and disability international arts events head to Cardiff, Bangor and Llanelli this June and July.

This page is dedicated to providing travel information for each of the venues of this year’s Hijinx Unity Festival.

  • If you wish to find the most convenient route options to the venues by bus or train, use our Journey Planner.
  • Use our Walking Planner or Cycle Planner to discover how to make your journey to the festival by foot or bike.
  • Give our contact centre team a ring for free on 0800 464 00 00(from 7am to 8pm daily) and one of our friendly advisors will be on help to assist with your journey planning enquiry.
  • Don’t forget to sign up for mytravelpass and save approx. 1/3 off your bus journey fare if you are aged 16-21 and living in Wales.
  • If you live in Wales and you’re either aged 60 and over or meet the Government’s disability eligibility criteria, you are entitled to free bus travel across Wales with your Concessionary Travel Card.
  • Industrial Action is taking place on 21st, 23rd and 25th of June. Please check our ‘Industrial Action’ information page for an overview and latest updates from services before planning your journey.

Cardiff

Wales Millennium Centre

There are several public transport options to be considered when traveling to the venue:

by Bus

The closest bus stop to Welsh Millennium Centre is Bute Place with regular Cardiff Bus (6, 8, 9, 99) and Adventure Travel (C8, 304, 89B) services operating in, out and around Cardiff.

Porter's Bar Cardiff, St. David’s Hall, and The Hayes

Cardiff centre is walking distance from all public transport links available to and from the city, many public transport options can be considered when traveling to the venues:

Some of them closest bus stops to Porter’s Bar Cardiff, St. David’s Hall and The Hayes are Westgate Street, Bute Terrace and Churchill Way with regular Cardiff Bus, Adventure Travel and Stagecoach South Wales services operating in, out and around Cardiff.
