Transport for Wales has put together 5 key principles in their ‘Travel Safer’ campaign, to advise travellers on how best to keep themselves safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The campaign is in line with the current message from Welsh Government, which is that people should ‘Keep Wales Safe’ and stay local.
People are still being advised to only travel for work or for essential journeys, such as to buy food or medical supplies.
Transport for Wales has also compiled a list of FAQs on the use of public transport during the current coronavirus crisis in line with latest Welsh Government guidelines. This includes the use of bus and rail services, active travel, safety measures and other useful information. This can be viewed here.
