Stagecoach Bus add more buses from Rhondda to Cardiff

08 June 2016

Stagecoach in South Wales has increased the number of journeys it runs into Cardiff from Rhondda. The Service 132 which runs from Maerdy, Porth, Pontypridd and Whitchurch into Cardiff now runs up to every 12 minutes, following introduction of a new timetable from 23rd May.

Nigel Winter, Managing Director for Stagecoach in South Wales said "We are constantly reviewing our network to reflect the changes in people's travel patterns and these latest improvements complement our Smart ticketing, as well as a new website incorporating live bus times and a new journey planner.

We are making it easier for customers to travel by bus with more buses in the hour, a great new journey planner on our website and flexible travel with Smartcard'.

He added 'The bus is the greener way to travel avoiding car parking charges and saves time queuing for a car parking space. Regular travellers can enjoy savings of up to 16% when buying our season tickets online with Smartcard.'
