Our current journey planning, timetable display, mobile app and other data management functions are nearly 5 years old. After extensive planning and research, a new modular form of complete system replacements has been ordered and should be fully functional by February 2015.
These new systems will be more flexible, reflect new technology and be mainly driven by the needs of our customers. The cost of procurement and ongoing support of the new system is significantly lower than now, and we will be able to offer whole UK journey solutions rather than being restricted to those in Wales.
In regards to our mobile app, a series of focus groups is to be held, and we also welcome any input and ideas from all existing users of our mobile app via our online survey.
