More Help to Travel by Public Transport
If you need more help to make your journey by public transport, please see below some useful information on other services and organisations available to help fulfil your transport needs.
Demand Responsive & Community Transport
Demand Responsive & Community Transport services are local bus services which are tailored to the needs of the passenger. They provide transport for people who would otherwise be disadvantaged because of age, mobility, disability or location and operate a bespoke door to door service.

Fflecsi is a new pilot scheme operated by Transport for Wales in partnership with local bus operators and councils, replacing a number of scheduled bus services.
Fflecsi is a bus service with a fixed start and end destination, which can adjust its route to pick up and drop off passengers anywhere within that fflecsi zone. Rather than passengers waiting at a bus stop for a bus to turn up, they can book a journey in advance using a new app, the fflecsi website or by calling 0300 234 0300. Passengers are given a pick-up point near their location and an arrival time for the bus.
Knowing how many passengers are being picked up in advance means the right size vehicle can be sent, guaranteeing passengers a seat and allowing physical distancing to be maintained.
The pilot service is currently operating in Newport, North Cardiff, the Rhondda, Denbigh, Conwy and Prestatyn. The service is throughout the week. Please visit the fflecsi website for more information.
Bus Users UK
Bus Users UK is a not-for-profit organisation which works on behalf of all bus users to ensure that operators meet your needs. If you have any complaints about a service, or want to share your opinions and experiences, please visit the Bus Users UK website for more information.
