Denbighshire County Council have been informed of changes to bus services in Denbigh which will be affected due to road closures between Monday, 16th January – Friday, 20th January and between Monday, 23rd January – Friday 27th January 2023.
Due to the closure of Bridge Street, Denbigh between these days, bus services will be amended and diverting from their usual route. Please note no traffic will be able to access Bridge Street during this time and alternative routes should be considered due to the essential electrical maintenance work.
Arriva 51 & X51
Buses before 7.30am will only serve the Plas Pigot bus stop on Ruthin Road in the direction of Ruthin, and the Railway Inn bus stop in the direction of Rhyl.
A free taxi shuttle service will operate from 7.30am to 6.00pm to transfer passengers from Lenton Pool and Vale St to Ruthin Rd to meet buses – and vice versa. Taxis will be waiting at Lenten pool at the time the bus is due and shuttling those who require the service to Ruthin Road and picking up those who depart the arriving bus back up to Lenten Pool.
The following services will serve Lenton Pool and Ruthin Road only via Denbigh Business Park:
20:50 Rhyl-Denbigh
21:40 Lenton Pool to Llangwyfan & return 76
22:20 Denbigh-Rhyl
23:00 Rhyl-Denbigh
23:55 Denbigh-Rhyl
All other evening services will stop at Ruthin Road only.
Normal service will run on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd
M&H
Temporary Bus Stops will be in place on Station Rd outside Aldi and Theatre Twm O’r Nant
Service 76 will stop at Lenton Pool, Station Road and Ruthin Road ONLY. It will not stop on Vale Street.
66 Fflecsi will not stop on Vale Street. It will serve Lenton Pool and the temporary stop on Station Rd.
P&O Lloyd/M&H
Service 14 will only stop at Lenton Pool. It will leave Denbigh Via Barker’s Well Road and through Denbigh Business Park.
Normal service will run on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd
