Industrial action

The train drivers’ union ASLEF has announced strike action on Saturday 26 November. Some TfW services are likely to be extremely busy as a result of the severely-reduced timetable put in place by other operators.

Transport for Wales (TfW) is not involved in Saturday’s industrial action by members of the train driver’s union ASLEF.

TfW services will be running but other train operators' services, across the UK, will be limited.

If going to the match, take the earliest service possible into Cardiff and return to Cardiff Central as soon as you can after the match.

A post–match queueing system will be in place at Cardiff Central. Services to Swansea and Newport will be limited and passenger numbers will be restricted, please be patient. TfW will provide coach travel for rugby fans.

There will be no services between Crosskeys and Newport.

For the latest information and to check your journey visit https://tfw.wales/industrial-action.

Cardiff Queen Street
