Disruptions

Castle Street will reopen to Buses and Taxis only from Sunday 29th November at approx. midday following its closure earlier in the year.

 

Cardiff Bus

Castle Street will re-open to buses and taxis from Sunday 29th November, and as a result, services 11, 28, 28A, 28B, 30, 35, 44, 45, 49, 50, 52, 57 and 58 will revert to circling the city centre as they did before the closure.

In addition to the route changes, some other bus stops and timetables will also change from this date.

NAT Group

Following the announcement that Castle Street has reopened from 29th November, from Sunday 6th December, the C8 will change its route.

The service will now operate along Castle Street, Westgate Street, and Penarth Rd (serving Cardiff Central) before continuing down Bute Street for Cardiff Bay. You can access the new timetable here.

 

Newport Bus

From Sunday 29th of November, the route 30 will return to its normal route in and out of Cardiff following the re-opening of Castle street to buses and taxis. There will be no change to the timetable at present, only the route. The 30 service will then operate to and from Customhouse Street via Westgate Street, Castle Street and Greyfriars Road to re-join Newport Road.
