Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on Swansea City Centre from 16:00 on Sunday 17th November 2019 for this year’s Christmas Parade and Lights Switch On.
The parade kicks off at the bottom of Wind Street at 17:00 and will head up towards Castle Square. The parade will then continue up High Street, down Orchard Street and onto the Kingsway.
During this time, ALL services will be diverted via the following routes:
Services 4A, 12, 16, 25, 28, 36, 111, X6 & X13 will divert via New Cut Road and the Strand in both directions.
Services 2A, 3A & 8 will divert via Oystermouth Road Inbound to Swansea Bus Station.
Services 20 & 21A will divert via Nicholl Street on Outbound journeys and via Henrietta Street on Inbound journeys.
Customers are advised that there is likely to be disruption to timetables as a result of these diversions, as well as additional traffic and loadings.
During the diversions, customers are advised to board and alight services at Swansea Bus Station as they will be unable to serve stops along the affected sections of the route.
