On Friday 9th November 2018, an emergency closure of the A487 will take place at Dyfi Bridge, Machynlleth from 09:00.
The closure is necessary to allow a large tree trunk, that has got caught up on the bridge, to be lifted out using a crane and a diving team.
The closure is expected to be in place for a few hours, with intended completion by 15:00.
The following diversions will be in place:
Gwynedd:
- X29 service will divert via B4404
- 34 service will divert via B4404
Gwynedd + Powys + Ceredigion:
- T2 to divert via A470 Dinas Mawddwy

The 07.30 T2 service from Machynlleth towards Bangor has been currently been delayed between Gellilydan and Oakly arms. There is currently a 35 minutes delay.

11:05 from Bangor will depart at 11:15 due to earlier road closure.
The 09:00 from Aberystwyth to Bangor is currently 20 minutes late and currently stuck between Gellilydan and Oakly arms on the A487.
