Wales vs Ireland Rugby World Cup Warm Up- Saturday 31st August 2019

Kick-off: 14:30

On Saturday 31st August, Wales will take on Ireland at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in what is set to be a fiercely contested match.

Wales have claimed 69 victories compared to Ireland’s 51 in the two teams’ 127 game history. Most recently, the Welsh Dragons reigned triumphant in the final round of the 2019 Guinness Six Nations championship, beating Ireland 25-7 and ultimately claiming the Grand Slam title.

Having been on the receiving end of this decisive defeat, Ireland are expected to come back fighting this August as both teams prepare for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. This will be the first of two thrilling warm up matches between Wales and Ireland, with the second taking place at the Aviva Stadium in September.
