Wales Coast Path Walking Festival

Wales Coast Path Walking Festival- from Saturday 4th until Sunday 19th May 2019

To mark 7 years since its creation, the Wales Coast Path team have joined forces with Ramblers Cymru to host a fantastic 7-day walking event. This specially devised programme will feature 7 guided walks from the north to the south of Wales between 4th-19th May.

From shorter accessible walks, to longer and more challenging routes. There really is a walk for everyone! The Wales Coast Path team are also working with Keep Wales Tidy to bring the coast path alive and help visitors discover the path in a new light. Whether this be some unusual wildlife, industrial heritage, ancient history or even edible seaweed!

The 7 walks taking place throughout the festival are outlined below:

  • 4 May at the Great Orme
  • 5 May on the Isle of Anglesey
  • 6 May at Porthmadog
  • 11 May at Cwm Tydu
  • 12 May at Saundersfoot
  • 18 May at Burry Port
  • 19 May at Llantwit Major

Most walks are free (apart from an additional charge for linear walks where transport is required), but festival goers will need to register. You can do this on the Wales Coast Path’s Eventbrite page.
