Tenby Boxing Day Swim, 26th December 2018

The Tenby Boxing Day Swim, named as one of Britain’s top ten barmiest winter dips, will return for its 48th year this December. The charity event is a firm favourite amongst locals and last year attracted over 600 swimmers to brave the cold and take part!

Swimmers can collect for a charity of their choice or for one nominated by the Tenby Sea Swimming Association. The event starts at 11am with a canoe race, crazy raft race, and fancy dress parade. With this year’s theme being Space Travel, your outfit has to be out of this world! The main swim starts at 11:30, and participants can rest assured that there will be a warming cup of hot soup waiting for them upon their return.

The event is well known for drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd. So even if you do not fancy taking to the water yourself, head down to North Beach to show your support!

You can find out more about this event on their website.
