Pride Cymru, Cardiff- Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th August 2019

This August Bank Holiday (Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th), Pride Cymru make a triumphant return to Cardiff’s City Hall Lawns. Over 50,000 people are expected to attend this 3 day celebration to raise awareness of equality and diversity and supporting the LGBT+ community.

After last year’s roaring success, visitors to this year’s Pride can expect to see even more entertainment across the event’s 4 stages. The confirmed line-up includes Comedians Joel Dommett and Robert White, Singer/Songwriter Shellyann and Frankie Valli Tribute Act The Valli Boys. There will also be a funfair, a range of mouthwatering food and drink stalls and a social hub that offers advice and support to members of the LGBT community, their families and friends.

As always, the Pride Cymru Parade on Saturday 24th will be the festival’s main event. Last year’s festivities saw over 15,000 participants parading loud and proud through the streets of Cardiff along a mile and a half route. Organisers are confident that this year will be bigger and better than ever as the parade follows a new route through Cardiff’s city centre.

To find out more about this year’s Pride Cymru, and to purchase your tickets, please visit the event’s website. Please note that children under the age of 14 will have to be accompanied by an adult.
