This feel-good musical sensation is based on the true story of American record executive Berry Gordy. With just $800 to his name, Gordy founded Motown Records and launched the careers of icons such as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, and Marvin Gaye.
Warm up your vocal chords and get ready to sing along to smash hits including My Girl, Dancing in the Street, and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough- as well as over 50 other Motown classics! Your toes will be tapping from beginning to end.
Taking centre stage in these performances will be Edward Baruwa (Sister Act, Five Guys Named Moe) as Berry Gordy and Karis Anderson (Stooshe) as Diana Ross, exploring the story behind Motown and the music that got the whole world talking. This is a must see event for any music fan, so be sure to visit the Wales Millennium Centre website and buy your tickets.
