Iris Prize Festival, Cardiff- Tuesday 8th until Sunday 13th October 2019

The Iris Prize Film Festival is an annual celebration of LGBT+ filmmaking in Cardiff, Wales. This year, the festival will take place from 8th-13th October and offers attendees the chance to enjoy a packed 6 day programme of LGBT+ films, events and parties.

The festival awards some of the best new filmmaking talent around the world. This includes the largest short film prize in the world, the prestigious £30,000 Iris Prize. There are also awards for Best British Short, Best Feature, Best Performance in a Male Role, Best Performance in a Female Role and the Youth Jury Award.

Festival goers can purchase a Full Festival Pass, Weekend Pass or Day Pass from the Iris Prize Festival website. Full Festival Passholders can enjoy everything the festival has to offer including every short film programme, every feature film (including Q&A sessions), the Iris Carnival and Awards Show, all talks and industry events and parties every night! The weekend programme entitles attendees to access to these events from Friday-Sunday, including the Awards Show itself. Alternatively, you can purchase a day pass for events taking place on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
