A collaboration between the University of South Wales and the Music Managers Forum, Immersed! Festival is an event for music makers, music educators and music lovers to celebrate their shared love of this art form. Taking place on Thursday 30th January in Cardiff, the event attracts international headliners to this extravaganza of Welsh musical talent, all in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. The day is separated into 3 events:

They focus on 3 core elements: create; collaborate; and complete. These showcases will be led by acclaimed artist David Coker, renowned producer Romesh Dodangoda and a panel of 3 managers at different stages of their career.
  • Symposium at Tramshed Tech (9:30am-4pm): Featuring a range of expert speakers from across the industry, the Symposium will examine the debates around popular music education, outlining case studies, good practice and ways in which the Welsh education system can improve.
  • Immersed! Festival at Tramshed (4pm-11pm): Immersed! In The City showcases some of the very best upcoming talent in the region alongside a world class line up of international headliners. The festival will feature 3 themed stages featuring 28 artists and bands, DJ’s, visual art, cinematography and industry talks.
