This popular festival features a programme of 35 walks and several talks, showcasing the best of what the Lower Wye Valley has to offer. Soak up the rich and beautiful heritage of this landscape whilst making new friends and meeting others who share the same love of walking!
Led by local experienced walk leaders and guides, routes vary in length from 2-13 miles. There really is something for everybody! This is also a fantastic opportunity to gain some local knowledge from those who know it best.
Gavin Jones, Community Engagement Officer for the Living Levels Landscape Partnership scheme, will be joining two brand new walks along the levels to reconnect people and communities to their landscape and provide a sustainable future for this historic and vibrant place. For J K Rowling enthusiasts, Tim Ryan (one of her former teachers) will be taking you to some of her childhood haunts. Walkers are encouraged to dress up as one of your favourite Harry Potter characters, with a prize for the best dressed!
These are just a few of the walks that will be held during the festival. The full programme is available on the event’s website, where you can also purchase your ticket. A Supersaver Ticket of £15 gives you the opportunity to join as many walks as you wish or £5 for a single ticket.
