Soak up the sights, sounds and smells of Caerphilly’s Christmas Market over this two day festive event. From Saturday 7th until Sunday 8th December, visitors will be able to browse the market’s 100 food, drink, craft and gift stalls. So whether you’re looking for some locally distilled gin, baked goods, handmade jewellery or some more unique gifts to give to friends or family this Christmas, look no further!
There will also be a full entertainment programme featuring local choirs, street theatre and funfair rides for the kids to enjoy. As if that wasn’t enough, visitors can also enjoy a wide range of delicious delicacies from local street food vendors with sweet and savoury treats that you won’t be able to resist.
Returning for this year is the Caerphilly Castle Ice Rink, back bigger and better than ever before. After you’ve shown off your skating skills, head inside the castle to meet Father Christmas himself!

The Christmas Market will be held across the town centre and in Caerphilly Castle, which also in the centre of town. The Castle is a 7-minute walk from Caerphilly train station, or a 15-minute walk from Energlyn and Churchill Park station. There are also a number of bus stops directly outside of the Castle that serve the 26, 50, 120 and other services.
