Join some of Britain’s top cyclists as they make a rare Mid Wales appearance at the Aberystwyth Cycling Festival from the 18th to 27th May. This 11-day event will feature a range of on and off road events for both professionals and cycling enthusiasts alike.
This includes the Audax, a new event for 2019, featuring a 212km route starting and finishing in Aberystwyth on the first day of the festival. If you fancy a slightly shorter route, the Ystwyth 10 Mile Time Trial on the 22nd is the perfect opportunity to compete against yourself as riders are set off one at a time.
The roads of Aberystwyth will be closed on 26th May when the Welsh Circuit Race Championships come to town! The day will also include various races for local primary school children and a Fancy Dress Parade, with the main event taking place later in the afternoon. With over 500 cyclists expected to compete, this event is truly set to be a highlight of the festival.
To see the full range of events taking place throughout the festival, head to the Aberystwyth Cycling Festival website.
