Cardiff Bus to sell tickets from Tourist Information Centre

25 February 2014

Cardiff Bus has announced that it will sell tickets from the Tourist Information Centre in the city centre.

Passengers can now buy day-to-go and day-to-go plus tickets for adults and young persons from the Tourist Information Centre in the old Library on The Hayes.

Gareth Stevens, Business Development Manager at Cardiff Bus, said: “We always look for ways to make our service more accessible to passengers which is why we are increasing the ways in which customers can purchase tickets. By being able to buy tickets from the Old Library, it should be easier for customers who wish to catch the bus from outside St David’s Shopping Centre.

“We also wanted to make travelling around Cardiff easy for tourists and being able to purchase tickets from the Tourist Information Centre is the perfect way to do this.”

Tickets are also available to purchase via Cardiff Bus’ new m-ticketing payment option, which allows passengers to browse, select, purchase and use bus tickets directly from their mobile phones. The m-ticketing service can be accessed via Cardiff Bus’ free iff app, which is available on iPhone and Android devices on any mobile network.
