Culverhouse Cross roundabout closure. Sunday 22nd October 2017
Cardiff Bus 96A diversions
There are going to be significant roadworks to resurface Culverhouse Cross roundabout over the next few weeks. The first closure that will affect service 96A is taking place from 22:00 on Sunday 22nd October until 06:00 on Monday 23rd October. During these times buses won’t be able to access Culverhouse Cross roundabout from Port Road, so the 22:15 and 23:15 Sunday night inbound journeys from Barry King Square to Cardiff will divert.
Buses will follow normal route to Port Road/A4231 Barry Docks Link Road roundabout, and then follow the A4232 Barry Docks Link Road to McDonalds roundabout, then run through Dinas Powys to Barons Court, entering the city centre via Ferry Road, Clive Street, Penarth Road, Clare Road and Tudor Street.
During this time all INBOUND bus stops along Port Road from A4231 Barry Docks Link Road roundabout through Wenvoe to Culverhouse Cross and bus stops from Culverhouse Cross along Cowbridge Road West, Cowbridge Road East, Lansdowne Road, Atlas Road, Wellington Street, Neville Street, Fitzhamon Embankment will NOT be served by service 96A.
Outbound journeys from Cardiff to Barry will not be affected at this time.
