Disruptions

Cardiff buses will divert in Cardiff Bay on Sunday 27th August between 10:00 and 13:00 due to the Butetown Mile.

During the road closures, buses will divert as follows:

The baycar (service 6)
Buses from the city centre towards Cardiff Bay will follow their normal route to Lloyd George Avenue, then divert left onto Hemingway Road and ending their journeys outside County Hall. 

Journeys towards the city centre will begin at County Hall, before circling the roundabout and returning along Hemingway Road before turning right onto Lloyd George Avenue and returning to their normal route.

Unfortunately, bus stops at Wales Millennium Centre (front and rear), Britannia Quay, Doctor Who and the BBC studios will not be served.

Service 8
Buses from the city centre will follow their normal route to James Street then turn right onto Bute Street and ending their journeys at Mermaid Quay.

Buses towards the city centre will start their journeys at Mermaid Quay and follow their normal route.

Unfortunately, bus stops on Bute Street (north end), County Hall, Pierhead Street, Wales Millennium Centre (front and back) will not be served during the closure.

Service 91
Buses between the city centre and Mermaid Quay will run via Dumballs Road and James Street in both directions.

Unfortunately, bus stops on Lloyd George Avenue and outside the Wales Millennium Centre will not be served during the closure.
