Cardiff Bus service changes from Sunday 9th October 2016
From Sunday 9th October there will be some changes to the following routes and times.
6 (baycar): Revised PM peak timetable to improve reliability. Click here for the new timetable.

8, 9, 11, 38 and 38A: These services will be reorganised and replaced by new services 8, 9, 9A and 11 as follows;
New service 8 will operate between Heath Hospital and Cardiff Bay via the city centre. From the Heath Hospital buses will follow the existing 38 route and on arrival at the city centre follow the existing 8 route to Cardiff Bay. Click here for the new timetable.
New service 9 will operate between Heath Hospital and Sports Village via the city centre. From the Heath Hospital buses will follow the existing 38A route and on arrival at the city centre follow the existing 9 route to the Sports Village. Evening and Sunday journeys that serve Channel View will show 9A. Click here for the new timetable.
These changes will mean more buses between the city centre, City Road, Crwys Road and Heath Hospital.
New service 11 will operate between the city centre and Pengam Green only. This will prepare the service in readiness for major bridge works in Splott in the future where additional time will be needed. On Saturdays buses will run every 12 minutes instead of every 10. Existing service 9A will be renumbered 9C and will start from Westgate Street instead of Havelock Street. Click here for the new timetable.

24 and 25: Revised Sunday timetable with buses operating full journeys rather than the current part-journeys. Click here for new times.
27: Buses will use bus stop GB on Kingsway and not GA.
28, 28A and 28B: Revised timetable. Click here for new times.
30: The closure of lower St. Mary Street on Fridays and Saturdays now applies from 22:00 instead of 20:00 hours. Click here for the new timetable.
35 and 36: The closure of lower St. Mary Street on Fridays and Saturdays now applies from 22:00 instead of 20:00 hours. Click here for the new timetable.
