Road Closure: Coedcae, Brithdir
Due to works at Tir-phil Station, the road between Brithdir and Tirphil will be closed to traffic from Monday 18th July for a period of up to 12 weeks.
As a result, Stagecoach in South Wales route 3, Bargoed - Merthyr Tydfil and evening route 4, Tredegar to Bargoed / Ystrad Mynach will operate direct via the A469 and not serve Brithdir Village.
From Monday 18th July 2016, a free shuttle bus (route 3E) operated by N.A.T. Group will run between Nelson Terrace/Milton Terrace and Brithdir Cemetery at 05 minutes past the hour for connections to Bargoed and 28 minutes past the hour for connections to Merthyr Tydfil, between 07:28 and 17:28 on Mondays to Saturdays. Passengers can transfer for onward travel to Bargoed or Merthyr Tydfil at Brithdir Cemetery and on the return, transfer to the shuttle bus at Brithdir Cemetery to travel to Brithdir.
