The Pen Y Clip tunnel will be closed from Friday 29th January 2016 for approximately 2 weeks.
Due to this closure, Arriva Bus services 5 and X5 travelling to Bangor will divert onto the A55 after Dwygyfylchi, omitting Penmaenmawr.
Customers travelling to Penmaenmawr from Llandudno on services 5 or X5 will need to change on to a ‘shuttle’ service at Dwygyfylchi.
Customers travelling from Penmaenmawr towards Bangor can catch either the ‘shuttle’ or service 5 towards Llandudno and change at Dwygyfylchi.
There will also be an additional ‘shuttle’ service operating between 9am and 5pm from Red gables to Penmaen Isa.
The times of services 5, X5 will be unchanged.
Journeys from Bangor are unaffected.
