Blackwood High Street will be closed between Bridge Street and Pentwyn Road on the following dates and times:
• Saturday 28th November 2015 between 4pm & 5.30pm
(Christmas Lights Switch-on)
• Thursday 3rd December 2015 between 7pm & 7.30pm
(Lantern Parade)
• Friday 4th December 2015 from 7pm until 10pm on Sunday 6 December 2015 (Christmas Market)
Buses will not be able to serve stops at Asda, old Aldi site or Pentwyn Road Garage and will be diverted as follows:
8 Blackwood – Grove Park – Blackwood
Between Sunnybank Road and Blackwood Interchange buses will loop the roundabout at McDonald's in order to serve the bus stops at Chartist Bridge then continue via Chartist Bridge and The Sirhowy Enterprise Way.
14 Blackwood – Fleur de lis – Bargoed
Between Blackwood Interchange and Lewis Lewis Avenue, buses will operate via Gordon Road, Albany Road and Bloomfield Road in both directions.
26 Cardiff – Blackwood – Markham
27 Blackwood – Markham – Bargoed
56 Newport – Blackwood – Markham – Tredegar
Between Blackwood Interchange and Cwmgelli buses will operate via The Sirhowy Enterprise Way and Chartist Bridge in both directions. Buses will loop the roundabout at McDonald's in order to serve the bus stops at Chartist Bridge.
