On Monday 22nd June, the following road closures will be in place to allow an Armed Forces Day ceremony to take place in Barry Town Centre. These closures will be required from 10.40 - 11.10 though it is expected that the police will implement this road closure for the minimum possible time to allow the ceremony to take place.
- Holton Road, Barry, between its junctions with Thompson Street and Broad Street
- Greenwood Street, Barry, between Thompson Street and Holton Road
- Lombard Street, throughout its length
- Beryl Road, Barry, throughout its length
- Kendrick Road, Barry, throughout its length
- Woodlands Road, Barry, between Lombard Street and Regent Street
Although the above closures are legally effective during the above times, it is only anticipated that they will only be implemented by the police while the ceremony is taking place.
Pedestrian access shall be maintained at all times throughout these closures.
