Please note that the annual Cardiff Bay Fun Run will take place on Monday 4th May. The route of the run will mean the closure of Pier Head Street, The Flourish, Lloyd George Avenue (from its junction with The Flourish to Letton Road) and Harbour Drive from 06:00 until approximately 13:00.
During this time the following diversions will apply to Cardiff Bus services:
Baycar:
From the city centre, buses will follow their normal route to Callaghan Square then continue ahead onto Tyndall Street; right onto Schooner Way; left onto Hemingway Road to County Hall where the journey will end.
Return journeys to the city centre will start at County Hall and return to the city centre via Hemingway Road, Schooner Way and Tyndall Street to Callaghan Square.
Buses will not serve The Flourish, Harbour Drive and Porth Teigr during this time.
Service 8:
From the city centre buses will follow their normal route to James Street then turn right onto New George Street to Mermaid Quay where it will end its journey.
Return journeys to the city centre start at Mermaid Quay and follow their normal route to the city centre.
Bus stops on Bute Street, Hemingway Road (County Hall), Pierhead Street and The Flourish will not be served during this time.
Please note that as soon as the roads are re-open services will return to their normal route.
