Disruptions

Following the events of Storm Ciara on 9/2/2020, some Transport for Wales services continue to be affected by damage to railway infrastructure.

Conwy Valley

Flooding has resulted in significant damage to the tracks. Network Rail are currently assessing the extent of the damage.  Until further notice, buses will replace trains on the route - the timetable can be found here.

 

Cambrian Coast (Machynlleth - Pwllheli)

Damage caused by flooding at Dovey Junction, between Dovey Junction and Tywyn, at Llanaber and at Criccieth mean significant works are required to re-open the railway. The earliest estimate for this work to be completed is Monday 16th February.  Until this time, buses will replace trains on this route - the timetable can be viewed here.

 

Aberystwyth - Machynlleth                         

The line between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth is also affected by the flooding at Dovey Junction.  Buses will replace trains on this route on Tuesday 11th February - the timetable can be viewed here.
