The following road closures will be in place throughout the morning due to allow for participants in the Cardiff Triathlon to complete the marathon section of the event:
6:00- 10:30
- Ferry Road from its junction with Clive Street to its junction with International Drive.
- International Drive throughout its length
- Olympian Drive throughout its length
- Watkiss Way throughout its length
- Dunleavy Drive from its junction with Watkiss Way to its junction with the Dunleavy Drive Retail Park
6:00- 13:00
- East Tyndall Street from its junction with Schooner Way to its junction with Herbert Street and Lloyd George Avenue.
- Lloyd George Avenue throughout its length
- Bute Place throughout its length including the flourish.
- James Street throughout its length
- Clarence Road throughout its length
- Avondale Road throughout its length
- Ferry Road throughout its length
- Corporation Road from its junction with Taff Terrace to its junction with Avondale/A4119.
- Clive Street from its junction with Penarth Road to its junction with Ferry Road.
Cardiff Bus
From the first bus until 13:00:
- Baycar (route 6) will start/end at County Hall and will run via Schooner Way to County Hall and via Central Link towards city centre. Bus stops along Lloyd George Avenue, The Flourish and at Wales Millennium Centre will not be served. Please use bus stops along Schooner Way and at County Hall instead.
- Routes 8 & 9 will start/end their journeys at Grange Gardens on Corporation Road. Buses will follow normal route along Clare Road, then divert via Paget Street, Bromsgrove Street and Holmesdale Street to Corporation Road. Route 8 will not serve Clarence Road, County Hall or Mermaid Quay. Route 9 will not serve Clive Street, Ferry Road or the Sports Village
- Route 91 will divert between St. Mary Street and Windsor Road via Penarth Road in both directions. Bus stops along Lloyd George Avenue, Mermaid Quay and Stuart Street will not be served. Please use bus stops along Penarth Road instead.
Stagecoach South Wales
Service 132 will not operate to and from Cardiff Bay due to The Cardiff Bay Triathlon.
Buses on 132 will end at Trisillian Way and start from Lower St Mary Street.
