The closure is expected to be operative between 7am and 6pm from 25 February 2019 to 3 March 2019 or until such time as the works have been completed.
1. Llantrisant Road, Penycoedcae from its junction with Penycoedcae Road, north eastwards for 300 metres.
2. Penycoedcae Road, from its junction with Llantrisant Road southwards for 375 metres

Due to the closure of Penycoedcae on Monday 25th February until Sunday 3rd March, the 404 service will be diverting between 09:00 - 15:00 through these dates.
Please click here to see the full diversion route. For residents of Penycoedcae, NAT will be operating a shuttle service between Pontypridd Bus Station and the Queens Head. The shuttles will leave each stop at the normal times stated on the timetable.
3. Tonyrefail Road, from its junction with Llantrisant Road north westwards for 135 metres.
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians. Access will NOT be maintained for emergency vehicles.
Alternative routes
From the southern side of the closure, proceed via Penycoedcae Road, Gwaunmiskin Road, Llantrisant Road (Beddau Halt), A473 Church Village Bypass, Tonteg Road, Upper Boat Roundabout, A470, Broadway, Sardis Road, Factory Lane and Llantrisant Road to the northern side of the closure.
For vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the directions given above.
